SANDEN started supplying compressors for automotive air-conditioners to Europe Ford (320 thousand units a year) in 2003.

Some Seat Alhambra, Cordoba, Ibiza, Leon, Toledo  are built with the same air conditioning compressor. The Original Equipment Manufacturer Numbers (OEM numbers) are Seat 1J0820803F, Seat 1J0820803K, Seat 1J0820803L, Seat 7M0820803A, Seat 7M0820803R, Seat 7M3820803, Seat 7M3820803A, Seat 7M3820803B, Seat 7M3820803C.



The air-conditioning system of these vehicles was assembled with a Sanden 7V16 compressor. Manufacturer numbers: Sanden 1080, Sanden 1215, Sanden 1226, Sanden 1233, Sanden 1245, Sanden 1278, Sanden 1283, Sanden 4255.
These ac units seem to be interchangeable.
